“The quality of the image in the live picture and in particular on recorded images with the non-pixellation of the images on zoom, are the best features of the megapixel cameras. Furthermore, Greystones Town Council were able to protect their investment in the existing analogue cameras, by converting these to IP using video encoders. The wireless solution is very robust, giving the Town Council rock solid connectivity over a wide area without recourse to civil engineering costs, making this security solution a viable option when budgets are tighter.”
“Having completed Milestone Professional Certification and Training with GVD earlier in 2010, I was in a position to sell, configure and install a full Milestone IP security solution to Proctor & Gamble, complete in the knowledge that I had the technical backup of GVD’s support team if required.“
“Castle Leslie is particularly pleased with the high quality images they get from the camera system, thanks to the megapixel resolution. The Milestone system is flexible and allows for extra cameras to be added for the interior of the hotel in the next phase of this project. This makes the overall project much more cost effective from their point of view and for us in CMG it makes the site a lot easier to upgrade and maintain.”
“McCloskey’s like the fact that they can playback the footage from when production first starts at 4am and review how production went without having to be on site. The facility to be able to log in remotely to the system from home and from the holiday home in Spain on the iPhone is also a great advantage. Being able to have video evidence in forensic detail has added value to the business by reducing shrinkage costs and creating a more efficient working environment.”

“We have used many CCTV systems in our restaurants over the years, but nothing compares with the picture quality we are getting from the IQinVision cameras. In addition, the Milestone software system allows us to easily access, review and export footage as we need it. We’re delighted with the move to IP and would recommend it to anyone installing or upgrading their CCTV system.”
“We’re very happy with the picture quality that we are getting from the new ACTi and IQinVision cameras in comparison to the previous analog cameras we had in place. The Milestone Smart Client is easy to use and we are able to display and review any of the cameras with just a few clicks of the mouse. It has helped us to identify incidents much faster and with much more certainty than in the past.”
“Matt Molloys are really happy with the Milestone XProtect Essential system. From a user’s point of view it is so easy to export footage and to set up different views on sets of cameras really quickly. As an installer, the fact that all the cameras are PoE made the cabling much easier and the on-site support I got from GVD was invaluable.”
